Looks like the lockdown will be renewed for another three weeks today so we’re going to be seeing quite a bit of the Centurion Way for a while.

In the bright sunshine, that continues to mock us as we’re limited to an hour’s exercise, the blossom really stands out. There are domestic trees to see along the streets, hawthorn and Blackthorn in the hedgerows and other trees in flower along the banks that line the old railway.

What’s also amazing is the way the past couple of days of sunshine have brought the leaves out. In the fields adjacent to the Centurion Way most trees have some leaves, some fully clothed. The vista across the fields has changed to that light, bright green characteristic of new growth.
