Alize

If you have not seen Alize this is what she is like, there aren't too many Tradewind 35's about but once seen you don't forget the classic lines and solid build. If you just want to know where to find her, go straight to joining instructions

Here she is at her home mooring on the Beaulieu River, its about half a mile downstream from Ginns, easy to get to but far enough away to be very peaceful

This is at the small club pontoon at the Royal Southampton yacht Club's summer clubhouse at Ginns Farm. For most of the sailing season there is a boat service from here to the mooring and lots always going on at the club, the food there is excellent

Although over 35 ft long she is designed for serious ocean sailing so only accommodates two in the forepeak plus two sea berths and a pilot berth in the saloon. On a cold night it's really snug down below with the Taylors heater going and the oil lamps which give a soft warm light

She's set up to be very easy to sail and manage short handed. The Cutter rig is flexible and larger enough to give her a fair turn of speed for a heavy, long keel cruiser.

Although traditional she is well equipped to navigate safely in all weathers; there are  all mod cons such as fridge and pressurised hot water so we can live on board in comfort!
